NOTE: The Pop Music Anthology needs to take a rest.
Unfortunately, Spotify sees fit to run ads recruiting for ICE, which has become Donald Trump's secret police, terrorizing U.S. citizens and non-citizens alike. Even when they act within the bounds of law (and far too often they do not), they act outside the bounds of basic human decency.
As a Christian and as a human being, I cannot in good conscience give money to Spotify right now, so I am deactivating my Premium account and encouraging others to do the same.
I hope to transition all these playlists to Qobuz, and I encourage folks to try out this platform. Qobuz pays artists the highest dividends out of all the streaming platforms. But as I am an individual hobbyist who has created this site as a labor of love, I don't have time to make a quick transition, so these playlists will just have to rest for a while.
Let's all work together to rebuild the United States of America on a firmer moral footing. I encourage all those who read this to buck the trend and respect the dignity of every human being.
